DUDE, WHERE'S MY STUFF?
Top Down Exploration Game - Programmer, Animation and UI Implementor
Created for Global Game Jam 2021, I worked in a team of 5 on the project and did all programming and UI implementation in 48 hours with Unity C#. Dude Where's My Stuff is a top-down exploration game centred around getting ready for a job interview after a wild night. Your clothes are scattered around the house, along with your glasses, and it's up to you if you'll be prepared for your interview. With 6 unique endings the possibilities are strong!
WORKED ON THIS PROJECT

GAMEPLAY PROGRAMMER
There's a basic inventory system to hold your clothes and pick up/drop off the various pieces you encounter. As well, there's a player controller with grid-snapping and collisions
IMPLEMENTATION
The animations all needed to be sunk up with the various clothing pieces and systems, and the UI for the title screen, how to play screen, credits screen, and main game were implemented by me.
UNIQUE ENDINGS
The 6 endings were capable of triggering with various flags set throughout the game (time left, clothes worn, clothing sets, glasses found). Depending on the ending the player would be shown either a static image or the player character with a background and their chosen clothes.
